Ø RRB ALP & TECHNICIAN First Stage CBT started in this month August 9 to August 31 conducting in various cities across India.

Ø Its officially announced the “Vacancy for ALP & TECHINICIAN is likely to increase 60000 from 26502”.

Ø According to RRB board usually they takes 30 to 45 days to declare a result after completing exam.

FIRST STAGE CBT CUTOFF MARKS

Ø As per RRB the cutoff marks varies according to their community here it is shown in the below table.

Ø The candidates should achieve atleast this percentages to qualify for the further rounds.

HEATER

• ·        Major Function of using a Heater in a Betta tank is to maintain a temperature, The normal temperature of a betta ranges from 25 to 28 degree celcius.
• ·        You can buy a heater from a whole sale aquariums or you can buy it from a AMAZON the price ranges From “700 to 1500”INR based on the specification.
• ·        In my personal Experience I have not used any type of heater for betta, As I am located in Chennai India, normally here temperature should be varies from 29 to 33 degree celcius betta can adopted to this environment.

• ·        But in winter season, you should be more careful because temperature drops down at that time your betta shrink is fins and seems to be not active, so water change can be occur for daily(Partial water change) depending upon the size.
• ·        But in Foreign Countries their temperature is even lower than us. That’s they are using Heater to maintain, In my point of view not necessary, If you are capable of Buying it you can.

SPONGE FILTER

• ·        Major Functions of using a Sponge Filter is to maintain a tank clean and absorb any kind of impurities in water.
• ·        Sponge filter Price range from (75 INR) according to their size it will get more cost, you can get it in local aquariums or even get cheap for 50 in wholesale shops at KULATHUR.

• ·        We personally used a sponge Filter, I bought it for 70 INR its suits for tank, these filter is very useful, when ur going for a vacation or outing for a couple of more days. It will tank in good conditions Personally. We recommended to use it.

METHYLENE BLUE & SALT

• ·        Methylene Blue major function of using is to kill the bacteria and parasites the parasites, salt is also a same functions is to kill a parasites, some bacteria causing a Itching to a fish, salt use to kill it give good environment for betta.
• ·        It Price ranges from( 80 to 120)INR.
• ·        It appears blue in colour, I Have bought it for 110 in my area local aquarium used it for my betta tank.

• ·        At First, when I bought I didn’t know a lot, The shopkeeper told me its good for your fish tank not only for betta, all fish types and tanks.
• ·        Later I want to know a lot and done some research, atlast I found that I bought the replica.
• ·        In original piece, there will be a percentages of methylene blue prented on it,but in mine there was a fish photo, so be aware of buying it.
• ·        You should bought in well known shop or even in kulathur.
• ·        “AQUARIUM SALT” it is the type of a salt using in all kind of fish tanks,its basically a type of sea salt.

• ·        Instead of using aquarium salt, we should use a rock salt , It does not make any difference (non Iodine ) its very important ,(don’t use tata salt,or any iodine type)
• ·        Because Aquarium salt price (400 to 500)INR, Rock Salt It will definetly present in all of our homes.
• ·        According to the size of the tank, Example ur tank capacity of containing (3 to 4 litres) of water, then you are recommended to use a 1and half teaspoon of rocksalt.

FISH TANK SIZE

• ·        According to the Researchers, betta should be kept in a 2.5 gallon tank that’s what keep him happy and healthy.
• ·        Personally I don’t agree that, because betta can adopt a environment you are giving
• ·        In countries like Indonesia, Thailand they breed bettas in a small soup bowl they grow it and even they breed in that cup itself, it is totally business point of view.
• ·        Betta can be optimize a amount of space , Some farms they grow betta in a wine bottle itself it grows well and breeding well.
• ·        We should not recommended a bowl, bottle, a cup, atleast a small tank is needed for a betta fish the tank size. If your growing a single betta you should atleast having (30*15)cm Tank is recommended.

FOOD

• ·        In my personal view I have used two kind of betta food, one is small food grains it should be in all aquariums. Just ask for a betta food they give a small pocket, food grains are small easy to feed your betta price (10INR).

• ·        Dry worms are also I have used just tear a very small amount and feed your betta you can use both diet price (5INR).
